He didn't get the nomination in 2016 because the Democrat Big wigs gave it to Clinton. The best choice never wins elections lol, not saying he would be the best one, but he's undeniably the most compassionate choice in the last few years
This is 1980s Reagan all over again but worse. Reagon made the democrats look like incompetent fools and destroyed them in the 1980 and 1984 elections, and it helped Bush Sr. win 1988.
Either Trump or the next Republican after him screws up big time so that people block back to the Democrats like with Bush Sr-Clinton.
The federal government is too powerful for red neck militias to put up a fight against them. But now that we have a mega-conservative supreme court, a lot of the damage won't be reversible, especially when it comes to civil liberties.
If he delivers on his promise like not taxing social security, tips and overtime. Inflation goes down and life becomes livable. Will you give him credit for it?
The house already put forth a bill to reduce social security payments if you receive a disability benefit or pension form your job. They ain't even waiting.
And inflation is guaranteed to go up: interest rates are getting cut, the money printer is back on, spending is at all time highs etc...

Gonna be interesting to see how the GOP pins the blame on the Democrats when prices inevitably skyrocket from Trump’s stupid tariffs and millions of workers suddenly being deported.

Trump's strategy isn't to bring prices down, but to give people more money. Problem is that for his policies to work, people must first suffer before things stabilize(Corporations building their balance sheets). Trump also wants to get rid of income taxes, but sales taxes will skyrocket to compensate. The inflation would make the govenrment deficit easier to pay off as well.
This system benefits Corporations and CEOs greatly. It won't benefit the people until after a great chunk of them suffer.

maybe it was a bad thing that they were able to go through Hurrican Milton mostly unharmed...:(coping at this point)
also maybe I should have saw the writing on the wall living in Brooklyn, NY but for the past 1-2 weeks I started to see a shitton of flyers/campaign signs of Steve Chan (a republican/conservative that has openly supported Trump + Israel) around my neighborhood, which was jarring considering my neighborhood has mostly been democratic/blue. And then a few hours ago (around 10 PM earlier today), he won the NY State Senate in a blowout. And there were also reports that Brooklyn's voting for Trump went up 11% for this election...
he can easily put someone that has his beliefs/ideologies/etc as his successor and this can last for years (shiet we might see Adin Ross or Logan Paul getting political influence at some point in the White House thanks to him, this will be much different than 2016 and not in a good way)
the results are even worse than i thought (I live around the bottom of the map btw and it used to be mostly blue and sometimes jokingly called purple post 2016)
