I think the best thing to do is take few months off and take good rest and then resume one piece in Feb.

We won't be getting more than one chapter in 3 weeks in upcoming two months anyway
In itself, that sounds very good and I would agree with all of that. But that doesn't solve the problem. He will come back and experience the same shit again:

- Tons of work tasks waiting for him that he has to do in addition to his manga because Shueisha really wants to milk everything. This repeats the problem of Oda overworking himself and having to take more breaks, then the whole game starts again after he comes back from the break.

So the end of the manga is pushed back more and more and Oda gets older and weaker. The thing is that people think that a break means that Oda ONLY works on these projects during this time.

But that's wrong, in most cases he works on other things alongside his manga. Did you know that he "only" needs a day to draw a chapter? The most stressful thing is the work around it. Meetings, thoughts, plans, side projects. All of that takes up an enormous amount of time and is stressful.

@dirtyLarry mentioned it recently, Oda has drawn more mistakes in RPG World than ever before. Lots of mistakes. That's not a good sign because it shows that he's having trouble concentrating. And that's the problem here. Oda works far too much on other side projects alongside his manga, one of which is Opla, which is apparently very stressful.

Oda has never taken as many breaks as he has in the last two years. It's no coincidence that Opla started the last three or two years.

The problems have to be dealt with immediately. He must and should finish all side projects for now and make sure he gets better. Then start step by step. If he don't solve the problem with all the side projects, things wont change.

Shueisha need to stop bothering and milking the shit of Oda and let him rest.

Obviously work load needs to be managed.

But thing is he's invested in one piece for 25 years. Weekly writing and drawing and other projects

So, why not take a cooling off period for few months, recover properly and then come back after few months with lighter and more manageable schedule

And all for what?
The complete and utter ruination of goofy and turning him into a true condom?
Onigashima art was not too great either lol.
Early wano was back in 2018-19. Like 5+ years ago. Oda is 5+ years older now.
Art went little downhill at Act3 but still good compared to what we have now, some of the best panel (art wise) in post skip are in Wano
Beginning of Wano till flashback end and early Onigashima raid was one of the best. The background and even small chapter are given a 9/10 effort in the art

5+ older could impact Oda's drawing IF he's gotten weaker drastically over that time. Dressrosa was alot earlier than Wano, but Wano has a alot better art and better quality than Dressrosa and WCI that's comes earlier. The result of Post Wano likely shows Oda is completely drain out mentally and physically.

There is no reason to go biweekly or monthly, believe guys when I say how much load would falling from his should once he cut all side projects like movies, vivrecard view, Opla and co? He should take his prio as first and as second his manga. He is not young anymore.

And make two chapters-break-two chapters-break plan and his health would rapidly rise hopefully good again. More sleep, more relax time, no time wasting on side projects(like Opla) and just focus on himself and his manga.

That should be his plan for the next years.
The break increase a lot since Opla started and other side projects. Just cut these events out and everything could became like in the past.

There is a reason why more breaks happening the past two years and why he take more and more break and have more health problems and error mistakes in manga.

But knowing his greedy Shueisha is, they gonna even add one-two more side projects too...

Monthly + cutting off those stupid side projects like live action, or pay someone from his team to get involved instead of him he has money to do that

I think maybe that could happen from now.
One Piece got a Chef editor who now. Maybe they plan that he will handle a side projects(a veteran)? That would be a great news. However as @Kurozumi Wiwi pointed it out, Oda is a workaholic(like most japanese workers), would he allow people to interefere with his side projects and opla?

This would be the best solution, giving the Chef editor all the projects(+Opla) and let Oda work on his manga and rest more/more sleeping time.

I want to remind you what Greg said one time on X about Oda's quotes about his lifestyle and work: basically Greg said that most of the time what Oda said about his work hours is false. Because in Japan the work of an artist is almost considered a "fake job",not really worth of the same respect of other jobs. So artists usually to appear "better" for the japanese society standards,do exaggerate with what they say about their jobs, saying they work 24/7 etc. Greg also said that Oda sometimes is pretty hedonistic and parties a lot, like Luffy.
So i am not saying that Oda doesnt have health problems or that he doesnt work a lot, because we all know he does, and Greg didnt deny that either. But,the reality is probably "in the middle". His work conditions are not so bad as certain interviews made it seem.
But,this unexpected break is surely not a good signal, thats true.
