Role Madness NieR: Automata Mafia Game Thread [Game State: Day 2]

Then how does him dying to his own ability make any sense?

Polar turned green (via his own ability).
Some other hostile killed him.

This is literally the easiest assumption here.
My brain is scrambling trying to process what is so confusing to you.

There is no reason to assume there's an "other hostile", based on what appears to have happened he is as eligible to be killed by Green. They would not be aware of Polar's alignment.

It's stated he must obey their commands, so what tf are you talking about? The Red Girls know his alignment, he just doesn't know who they are.

Ok, I'm going to hand hold you through this.

- Polar activates his ability and converts N1
- Mafia shoot Polar Night 1

These happen simultaneously.

Any and all assumptions about "Mafia knows who Polar is so blah blah" are therefore moot, unless specifically you assume the mafia was informed of Polar specifically before he even converted himself

Capice?

Read the f***ing action Resolution.

You seem very confused

For one, you're theorizing he was converted "in the middle of the night", which by default falls out of the purview of resolution order.

Secondly, killing being above conversion in resolution order doesn't mean conversions don't happen. I mean, clearly so, this is evidenced by the fact that he did

So.

Do you think it's likely we started the game with a single hostile flavour or not?

Because the Red Girls are a single flavour and only they know the wincon which means they aren't a Mafia.

For your theory to work this is the main implication.

It's literally stated in his role flip.
No you're talking about a whole lot of shit that has no significance.

Strictly, from a logical standpoint, there is absolutely nothing proving that the green faction isn't mafia, nor that they couldn't kill him. You're speculating on what you think is likely, but you're needlessly confusing yourself and others.
