Speculations Can Zoro and Mihawk Counter Devil Fruits?

#23
Mihawk in principle should be able to if he’s Shanks’ rival. Pure swordsman = haki skill and knowledge, would actually be embarrassing if he couldn’t

Zoro on the other hand hasn’t demonstrated this skill yet. He might have learned it on Rooftop but Goofy didn’t, only Law did since his DF was directly being negated. So just cuz Law learned it doesn’t mean anybody else did

Real DF negation like what Kaido/BM/Shanks/Joyboy did is a top-tier skill. Kaido/BM/Law did it using CoA, Shanks/Joyboy did it using CoC. One is self-targetting the other has AoE

Instead Oda is gonna disrespect the second mc green swordsman and mihawk who is stronger than imu?
Nikchan not cooking here
:willight:
I haven't said that, kekaro-chin...
I said Mihawk and Zoro win, regardless of the ability to counter DFs with haki.
If they can cancel them all the time, they win.
If they can cancel them for just 5 secs, they win.
If they cant canceled them at all, they still win.
Ultimate hakimen like Zoro and Mihawk are way too broken.
Buy stocks now, thank me later. :sanmoji:

Oda will not end the manga without seeing the strongest man embracing a god tier df merchant, the implication would be not good :endthis:

@nik87 Thank you for the advice ! =], Do you think Mihawk and Zoro are more focused on conqueror's or on armament haki?,

Not sure what you mean...
The strongest man, Zoro, is a god tier DF merchant himself because he willed into existence the strongest evolution of Humanity.
One that even Vegapunk is clueless about.

Do you think Mihawk and Zoro are more focused on conqueror's or on armament haki?,
Those two care only about being the strongest.
How they get to be the strongest, doesn't really matter to them.
As Zoro said, even if he has to bite off someone's neck, he will do it, all for the sake of victory.
I don't know what they are focused more on, we still cant see the full picture of true hakimen from the perspective of EOS.

So far, Zoro focused more on Armament, just like Luffy, because they didn't have aCoC at that point but that doesn't mean anything from EOS perspective. Both CoA and CoC coatings are hinted to be 10x buffs, due to "100 times stronger than we used to be" so they should be focused equally on both, one without the other shouldn't work well due to significantly lower buff.

If people less skilled with Haki than Zoro can do it, then it's dumb to assume Mihawk and Zoro coudn't do it, provided they're aware of such an application. With Zoro, you could argue that he likely doesn't have such a skill assuming he's not aware of it, but there's no way Mihawk is in the dark about this.

Of course they can. Countering DF with haki is countering DF with haki.

Whether someone can counter DF with haki is determined by the strength and skill of the DF user DF power compared to the strength and skill of a haki user haki. Law countered Doc Q DF by simply gathering and releasing a lot of haki from his body. That wasn't something special only top tier can do. More haki and skills is need to control and master enma.

Tashigi knew how to use haki to counter DF back during Hazard Punk. The only reason she couldn't counter Law's DF power was because her haki wasn't strong enough.

During Hazard Punk Zoro used haki to counter Monet DF power and hurt her body. Logia use their DF to protect their body from attacks by turning their body into their DF element power. Haki can counter that power and target their real body. Zoro learned that from Mihawk.

Well, according to you guys, Law reversed a Devil Fruit ability with Armament Haki, and you believe Zoro and Mihawk also will do it with Armament Haki, so there is no argument if you think that.

However, if you consider it might be a Conqueror application then Zoro and Mihawk suddenly have a problem.

I don't see how it's a problem for them when they both have CoC.
