In recent years, we've seen the rise e-celebs or Influencers

In recent US elections, Kamala still lost despite prominent actors and popstars like avengers and Taylor/Billie Eilish endorsements

Joe Rogan endorsing Trump is vital one and he was able to get many people vote for trump

This isn't necessarily a political thread but just an example.

Ofc another popular influencers include the likes Tate etc

It's seems like actors and popstars no longer have the influence they once had, and these influencers have surpassed them in many cases

Is this a good thing?

TV and hollywood doesn't have the glamour it once had. Also, influencers interact with their fans 24/7, so there is that too.

It's interesting to note that two examples of influencers you mentioned - JR and Tate - both are bald

Yes its true. Influencers/Tiktokers etc. are the new celebrities. Kids nowadays dont grow up with television or cinema like us millenials, but grow up with Tiktok shorts or Twitch livestreams.
Of course Hollywood can still give popularity, but it has way less power. There are new celebrities like Sydney Sweeney or Jacob Elordi but they have to share space with Influencers, and often lose against them.
Is this a good thing? Well,it depends! Influencers have more space for freedom of speech for sure, but they can be stupid so their "speech" is not a "quality speech",or they can still be corrupted with sponsorizations etc. so it doesnt probably change too much.
