Do you mean that twitter - as twitter is a form of media - should not be owned by a Billionnaire and be open source ?

Wouldn't it be more free and fair if channels like CNN or Fox News were not owned by Billionnaires, but owned by the public ?

You know what @Reborn you are right on something. I do try to use the socratian dialectic approach.. but the problem - and I think I now understand the flaw in my argumentation - is that I uses it as a rethorical weapon and a way to trick my opponent rather than something created with the principle of respecting my interlocutor and having a sane debate. This is mainly due to the irrespect I have for people voting for far right Ideas.

While the respect will not magically reappear. I'll still try to work on asking more open and transparent questions and train myself to be dive even deeper in this kind of action. I modified the last two questions to make them less conflictual.

Major media sites (including social media sites) are going to be owned by someone of affluence a huge site that at least hundreds of millions of people use will always have tremendous monetary value, much like any other major fortune 500 company, yes.

There is a difference with thinking that sites like twitter have a tremendous monetary values and thinking that they should not be open source.

Plus, Bluesky is 21 Million big at the moment, which is huge and yet, even if there are owners, it's open source.

Apparently the sheer number of these reports have been overwhelming the staff currently working there too.

But I don't use these social media sites all that much, I don't prefer to get reportspammed every other post I make either.

Which is normal. This site is currently having the biggest rise of users and tanking the consequences of the lack of moderation of twitter.

Don't worry about the staff, they will do their job. And don't worry about the reports, they are perfectly normal. It's time that anti-democrats and problematic people understand that they are not welcomed in normal and safe spaces and their hurtfull rethoric is not ok.

If those people want to stay toxic together, they have Xwitter. Meanwhile, we will have our nice and open source plateform.

Now.. what type of plateform would you prefer ?

The one where there is "total" freedom, owned by a billionnaire, without moderation, with bots all over the place or.. an open source plateform, that will take more time to be moderated, but will be much safer for all ?

Supporting Israel is official stance of US Govt Foreign policy nothing to do with Trump . No difference even if Kamala was elected .

I think all software must be free software for it to not be malicious, and this is what I mean by free software, free as in freedom, not free as in price:

I think it has to be free software for it to not me malicious because if it isn't free then you do not really know what the program is doing, and you also don't control it, which can and many many times has lead to users being harmed by things like data collection,

The problem with Kamala is she would've never taken a stance. She is the person who had pro-Palestine commercials in one state and pro-Israel in another. Plus, I don't think she would've been in control anyway. It would be the same puppet masters that Biden has.

I don't remember her having any pro-palestinian stance.

She was always against stopping arming Israel. There is no "puppet", there is simply people who are ideologically biased no to change their mind on this conflict.

He would have far more chances to makes Harris change her viewpoint than Trump, now Palestinians are screwed. Thanks to those who voted him in power.

There is blood on the hands of Trump voters as they clearly expressed the refusal to do something against the help toward Israel.
