People who spread these types of narratives is the reason there is a big push right. The best way to move people in a certain direction is telling people something they know is a lie, the same reason left leaning mainstream media are failing. I can't think of a bigger lie than saying everyone in xy or z group is evil and bad.
Left leaning media are rising, not failing. If I take the only example of France, the conservative media circle is completely destroying itself in ridiculous behaviors and leftist independant media are popping one after another bringing the best content we have seens in 15 years.
And it's the same for the US too.. conservatives are failing, People are starting to get sick of the Shapiro BS and more and more influencers are getting big.
