How does all of that indicates xebec was like luffy though?

Xebec had more of an evil aura around his portrayal.

Also, what purpose kureha had to join them at 92 years of age?

They don't have to be a 1:1 copy to be similar They have a lot in common

🤔 what exactly did Xebec do that was evil? Try to kill celestial dragons and overthrow them? Lead and earn the respect of pirates who all became power houses in the future? - What has he done exactly to have an evil aura?

Shit idk why she would join we know nothing about her or her past but it was hinted that she knew something about the Will of D

However, there is no denying that Egghead really was planned and written as start of the final saga.

Knowing this, the current (massive) slowing of the pacing just makes little sense, no matter how long we estimate the finale to go on.

Elbaph with the way it'a set deserves their own Enel type of antagonist in the form of Loki or whoever, not Shiki/Kidd

Tho Loki's release might affect the whole world, he's got a bounty without even doing anything outside of Elbaph

He just spent 7 chapters - almost three months in real time - on some random lego sideplot that was executed very poorly on top of it (countless drawing and consistency errors) and his standard "crew divides and explores" yada-yada.

Disagree. The first few chapters (only 3) being contained in the Lego room was odd, but these twists are done purposefully. Oda probably didn't want the reader to see Elbaf immediately, and instead slowly get introduced to the scope of where they are. Additionally, these set ups tend to have greater significance for the theming of the arc.
Some possible patterns we could see in this arc based on the doll world include:
  • Usopp making excuses for his weakness and having to grow past that
  • The challenging and/or defilement of Gods
  • The true nature of Elpaf actually being disguised
  • The destruction of the existing order for the sake of liberation
