I presume you all think Greenbull has black blade.

If that's the case, surely it would be addressed and confirmed in the manga at some point. Yoru and Shisui being black blades were directly addressed in the manga, and was used to hype up the sword.
At least by the time Greenbull gets a proper 1v1, or by the time his role in the story is over, this should happen.

That maybe coming in next 2-3 years I suppose.

And Who's Who clearly had a sword until he removed the scabbard...
The official colouring did nothing new.
The sword looked black in the manga already.
In manga statement that it is a kokuto is needed.
It could be but it also might not end up one, this is Oda we are talking about.

And yes, considering the other two black blades were explicitly addressed in the manga and hyped up, if Greenbull has a black blade it would be addressed too.
Black blade is relevant, if it wasn't clearly you all wouldn't be jumping around so much and be spamming countless threads and posts. Saying the sky is blue isn't.

Well people to this day deny Sanji has basic Armament Haki even though it's been comfirmed he has it as far back as FMI.

Mind you it's the contingent of fans that denies Green Bull's blade being black citing the color could be the sheathe or just armament haki, while at the same time saying Sanji has never shown armament because the guy has been wearing black pants and shoes since his introduction.

As for me, I don't have a dog in the fight but I do enjoy the squirming certain "fans" here are doing (not aimed at you, you're chill)

Of course his black blade will be focused up on when he gets an actual fight. That's how it goes.

Manga and additional materials show he has a black blade. It ain't gonna magically turn itself white in the future.

Yoru is the Strongest Black Blade so it means there's still inferior Black Blades out there so I don't know why people are making a fuss about GB "potentially" having it. GB, after all, is still a Top Tier, and him forging one makes sense.
AT least it does mean that Oda actually cares about Black Blades and will expand their lores instead of having it as just another upgrade for Zoro.

A black blade would get direct confirmation in the manga in future and so perhaps in few years we will know for 100% it's a black blade or not.


However, as of now, it does seem like it's a black blade based on VC and Colored version and not sheath or just CoA coating so we should just go with this until proven otherwise. Of course one can clearly refuse to accept this and go with headcannon that it's not black blade but that would be just intellectual dishonesty at this point.



Having that said, If GB has this BB, then he's a monster. A blackblade forged by him speaks for itself + that sick df he has on top of it.


Also, he's 308 cms > Akainu's 306 cms height. Just saying.....

I think it will happen, sure, be it on manga or worse in VC.

Most likely when he uses it, or maybe when he uses it against someone important.
