I want to get into the video game industry. I need recommendations for video games suitable for beginners.

Well, I did mention emulators pirating games, so if it's against the policies of this side, mods can delete this part of my post (or can do it entirely). I recall it's getting a huge issue if you're start linking those sites with the emulators.
Yeah,
The e word? I don’t see why not?
I heard recently a lot of websites supporting that have been shut down, you can talk about this freely on reddit so it may be alrighty to talk about it here too without any issues from nintendo but I wanted to ask,

go ahead lol

I have been using emulators roms and cracked games for over 2 decades lol
Alright, then I don't have to worry about it.

Same here. I've been using emulator roms for 2 decades as well. The classic ones being GBA and N64. For some reason, I never managed to play PS1/PS2 roms on the respective emulators because it didn't work.

Anyway, maybe @PeperLevi can try some of these before he decides to pay for the Mario games because there are really A LOT of them. Then we have Zelda and Pokemon, Metroid, Kirby, Donkey Kong, etc.

This is a very important question. Thank you, Smoke.
It seems like a good idea to me to start gaming on PC, since here at home we can easily afford things like computers and laptops.
I'll follow Toby's recommendation to start with platformers. I'll pick up the first Mario game and focus on beating it.
Here's a new question: Are Nintendo's games available for PC ? If so, is the first Mario game among them ?
@Yoho @Toby D. Dog @Jaguark101 @Moegara @Naomi @Elder Lee Hung
@Nekomamushi @RogerRogerd @Sentinel @Chrono @NikaInParis @RayanOO
@Buusatan94 @Garp the Fist @EmperorKinyagi @Red Night @Fujishiro
@Rukusho @Just a member @Fuckthis3 @zzShinichi @Seatonnes @Pot Goblin

@Etzel Andergast @Cross_Marian @SakazOuki @MonsterKaido @Sir Yasheen
@Blax Blah @Mr. Reloaded @DarkWitch @RobertoTheOharaSurvivor
Only through emulators.

@PeperLevi there are programs that can simulate other computers, named emulators, and they can simulate a console too, so you can download an emulator for a console, get the files for a game, the file is called a rom, put the rom into the emulator, and the game will play, you can emulate almost all nintendo consoles, the first Mario game and the last released Mario game, on your computer, and also on your phone,

And I say almost all because there are some nintendo consoles like one called virtual boy that didn't sell very well and may not be able to be emulated at least with publically known emulators, but the main consoles can all be emulated both on computers and phones,
