Nah. Obviously Luffy had to succeed where Joyboy failed, which is to successfully defeat the WG itself IE the Twenty Kings.

This what Vegapunk meant when he said that the war that began 800 years wasn’t over yet lol. This is all foreshadowing Nika vs the Twenty Kings.

20 kings were joyboy's enemies back then and going by the panel , he himself seems soloing them and not joyboy's crew. So obvi oda shows a panel depicting the fight which happened during void century.

We haven’t met Zoro and Sanji’s EOS opponents yet. When the EOS comes about and Imu summons the twenty WG kings, Zolo will fight the swordsman King (Mihawk’s ancestor), and Sanji will fight the religion/science king or whatever. There you go.

There is too much narrative similarity between the Gorosei and the Admirals for Oda to waste them on the Fairy Hats.

I'm saying that because even If i think the admirals are Oda best characters, the likes of Zoro and Sanji aren't going to sit on the sidelines as ultimately admirals are still only "secondary characters" lol.
But if Oda asspulled Imu I guess he can asspull other enemies

That’s swords storyline, there’s a reason there’s no admiral in sword, because the entire role of the admiral is to be directly under the CDs. Even Fujitora is vastly more pro WG than he is pro Pirates which ultimately is what the fight will be for or against piracy.

No current admiral will fight for pirates. It’d be the largest insult to the marine organization ever along with Kuzan joining the BBP

So basic Shonen plot structure says plot destiny prophecy MC must succeed where his 800 year old counterpart failed. That’s how these series work.

Nasujuro doesn’t deserve to fight EOS Zolo. EOS Zolo should instead fight the strongest swordsman in all of history. Already Nasujuro is debatably an inferior swordsman to Mihawk let alone the theoretical best swordsman in history.

If Zoro beats the best swordsman in the world currently, then he becomes the best swordsman in the world currently. If Zoro beats the best swordsman of all time, he becomes the best swordsman of all time. Oda did not spend 30 years of his life drawing Zoro to make him the best swordsman in the world currently, he will make Zoro the best swordsman of all time. @nik87 @Fleet Leader Fenaker @ShishioIsBack tell me I’m wrong

The same thing goes for Sanji. Ju Peter is an unworthy fight for Sanji at EOS. Sanji deserves an opponent of a similar caliber to Zoro as he’s always gotten. The Gorosei aren’t even on Imu’s level.

This is why I’ve been saying we haven’t met Zolo and Sanji’s EOS opponents yet.
