-Next to no involvement in the defeat of Kaido/Big Mom (what did Drake actually accomplish? What happened to moving to the new world to take on the Yonko?)
-Fujitora and Ryokugyu fail at the Reverie against the Revo army.
-Eight nation revolt resulting from this, Sabo now considered a hero.
-Ryokugyu also disobeys his orders, goes to Wano only to get embarrassed by Shanks
-Warlords disbanded against red bitch's wishes.
-Failed to capture Vista's rival, Buggy or Boa after the Shishibukai are disbanded.
-Vista's rival and Buggy become Cross Guild and cripple public confidence in the Marines.

Idk man. Oda is normally very simple when it comes to his twists and on the nose writing. While Id much rather it just be Shanks, creating this type of scenario where its "Shanks" but we cant see the full design is exactly how he teased Yonji.
Now its possible he's punking is for that specific reason, but I just feel like it aint that deep and the evil twin shit is just what it is now. It explains everything, even if I wanted it to be more complex than that. Doesnt mean Luffy and Shanks cant fight, but it seems like Oda would rather he beat the shit out of some twin instead of Shanks himself (possibly leaving Shanks for Blackbeard or whatever I guess.....).
Love to be wrong though, so we'll see how this twist turns out.
