The gorosei are literal copy paste century old dudes that have 0 characterization and did nothing but job the arc they did got introduced with no personal agenda beside being tools for imu. And imu considers them so unimportant he tells them nothing. The only one that sticks out of them is, surprise, the "normal" one that got lifted from being the commanders of HK.

Also before some genius adds on to that, given how we saw how all the old farts reacted its not "Normal" for a hk, or even the hk leader, to get promoted to a gorosei otherwise they wouldnt have acted up

If you guys think thats so outrageous we could bet gonna be funny in a couple of years i 8/9 with my prediction since wano so far

Cause before he got promoted to a gorosei we got a spread with the vital players and they were, presumably, shonks, and garling, before saturn was dead, if that matters to you this much
Also we got a teaser for them as a group and now one of the members face is concealed
They are far more important to the narrative than 200+ year old dudes that cant be connected in any meaningful way to the main cast of characters and supporting characters. Its not like rocket science

I mean it’s possible for an unimportant character to take up more story space than an important one (look at how all the strawhats are occasionally sidelined for arc characters)

Of course Danks and Garling being related to Shanks gives them special elevation in the story… That doesn’t randomly mean the entire holy knights group is elevated above the Gorosei… again, garling’s promotion cements that The Gorosei are above them

this is like a Katakuri and big mom situation… Big mom is obviously more important than Katakuri but Katakuri ended up the actual arc villain that Luffy defeated… Luffy is probably going to get a full 1v1 against Danks this arc and may actually never fight the Gorosei and just go straight to Fighting Imu… So Danks is like the Katakuri and The Gorosei are like Big mom(who Luffy will never fight)
