General & Others Elbaf Warriors Are Overrated By The World The Same Way Wano Samurai Are

I've been warning anyone who would listen (@Kurozumi Wiwi @Sir Yasheen @SakazOuki @Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier @Daves John @nik87 @SakazOuki @TheKnightOfTheSea ) for a couple months now that the hype behind the strength of the giants is most likely a repeat of what happened in Wano.

It's crazy how fast people forget things. The samurai of Wano had INSANE hype going into that arc.

Only for it to turn out that outside forces were overrating the strength of Wano because they thought it was a nation full of Ryumas, when in reality the Mimawarigumi samurai that served Orochi were just a bunch of strong fodders.

Well we basically got confirmation the same thing happened for Elbaf, with the outside world thinking the giant pirates/Loki are representative of the nation.

How so many people keep falling for Oda's fake hype, even old timers who SHOULD be immune to it by now, is kind of crazy.

A valid point, but this is an actual plot point, it isn't like Wano where it is just false hype.

We'll see
It WAS a plot point in Wano, part of the reason the government avoided Wano/was kept out of Wano historically was because of Ryuuma and the impression he gave them.

Canonically we KNOW the modern day Samurai minus Oden were not at that level.

You are kind of right.
Elbaf is a shadow of its former self, the only difference is that they live a lot longer than Samurai from Wano so we also have the remnants of the old generation while the new gen are complete weaklings who Zoro should have indeed cut down...

Also people need to manage expectations what strongest nation means. It is not full of top tiers or even high tiers but if their fodder troops are on the level of Flying Six or Numbers, they are indeed the strongest nation by far.
New Giant Warrior pirates are the Flying Six of Elbaf, Old Giant Warrior pirates are the Scabbards of Elbaf and Loki should be their Oden.

Dorry and Broggy's Egghead performances might end up as the most impressive showcase any non-Loki giant may have.
Been saying this for awhile.

?? It literally says the other villages wasn't going for King herald bs.

Exactly, although I dont even know if their combatants are F6 or Number level on average considering that I would take any F6 or Number over Hajrudin

I told people

And people were here saying BM feat wasn't that impressive lol
Elbaf strongest giants are Dorry, Brogy, the legendary pirates that BM defeated,... giants who sailed and ruled 100+ years ago.
Loki is the only top tier Giant who's younger than 100. The rest like Harujudin are now vet tier max ! The remaining are all mid tiers or low tiers.

@Tyki_Mikk I told you this
Don't get carried away by Elbaph hype.

Only giants hailed as legendary are worth the hype

Loki ~ Admiral level
Dorry /Brogy ~ Dukes/King/Marco
Saul ~ Snack
Old legendary pirates that BM defeated : inbetweeners or top high tiers.

The rumours about Wano's Elbaf's strength date back to void century times and due to lack of real interaction with aforementioned cultures, the rest if the world never got the memo

The WG captured the two giants standing guard on Enies Lobby 50 years ago.
Mother Carmel (a CP agent) was in Elbaf even more recently than that.

Had Elbaf's strength fallen off in the past few decades, the WG should already be aware of it.

This plot point didn't exist in Oda's mind until recently.

I am certain of that. Ever since I have read about Elbaf legendary army and Elbaf being supposed to be the strongest nation in the world, and even more after seeing Wano samurai failing to live up to the hype, I am certain that Elbaf isn't going to live up to the hype either.
