of course you only like kawai cliiche slapstick comedy lol
Hmm I like from Baka to Test but tbh I think I don't really appreciate comedy in general. It's probably due to my mind state. There are times that the same type of jokes hits but other times not, be it from other types or from that "kawaii cliche slapstick comedy" as you put it.

Momo and Aira leading? Wandadan. :steef:
I mean...I expected nothing else beforehand lol
It's almost like another Oshi no Ko situation, just like how last year the Oshi no Ko girls were in a huge lead.

Also Momo, Aira, and Turbo Granny, are just really fun characters.

I knew Dandadan was gonna solo diff the season. No other anime this season could contest it as numero uno, especially in terms of characters.
In terms of new anime then yeah but in terms of continuations, I would say Re:Zero was pretty close.

I love that anime and its full of slapstick comedy tbh
It's actually a good example. There were days I was laughing in almost every joke and other days I found it barely funny. It's really my state of mind which usually isn't "geared" towards comedy.

I like tension (drama) and mystery/suspense more I think. At least atm that's where I am right now.

I get your point but then how do you enjoy rom coms so much??

actually Re:ZERO, but it only had half a season :kata:
Re:Zero was good ofc, and easily 2nd place right after Dandadan, but, to me, Re:Zero doesn't have a standout episode aside from episode 1, while Dandadan has several (1, 4, 7, and 9) and overall has better pacing.

I agree with your brave take if you only love surface level stuff
Huh? Dandadan has plenty of depth, man. :myman:

Imo Re:Zero did have some really good episodes as well other than the first one, but other than that yeah I would also place it as my second favorite after Dandadan for the Fall Season.

Season 2 and beyond is where things will get even better.:shocking:

Not only that but everything we are seeing so far in the anime is just the beginning.

eh not really Momo and Aira as characters are pretty surface level in my opinion
What the?

Momo is easily one of the best MCs in an ongoing manga/anime.

Aira literally turned the audience's opinion on her from negative to positive in less than a season.

No way they are both just surface level. They are far from shallow.

for me Re:Zero's episode 7 alone is better than DAN DA DAN's entire season
Re:Zero's episode 7 literally got overshadowed by Dandadan's episode 7, dude. :gokulaugh:

The week when both episodes air, Dandadan got praised all over the place while Subaru yapping for half an hour mostly got criticized. :kobeha:

Not only is Momo a great character, but she is easily one of the better female shonen protagonists out there right now.

Compare her to someone like Ochaco from MHA or Nobra from JJK, and Momo easily clears them.

Granted unlike the two I mentioned, Momo is also the main protagonist of the series.

Yep, Dandadan episode 7 was praised almost everywhere I went.

Now Re:Zero episode 7 was really great as well and I did really like Subaru's speech, but the only ones that were praising that episode were mainly the Re:Zero fans.

Both were great episodes but personally I enjoyed Dandadan episode 7 more than Re:Zero episode 7.

Without comparing the two eps and only talking about the reactions to the Re Zero ep, that just goes to show how most people miss context and don't get the symbolism or the subtlety of certain moments. Basically they must be spoon fed. They just want all bang bang bang and no character development. What you'd expect from "shounentards"
