Neither. It's just an hobby to pass time when I have nothing else to do. If anime never existed or if I wasn't into it, I would be watching American TV shows and stuff probably. It's what it's meant to be, entertainment.

I just has a bunch of relatives telling me "remember when you were reading mangas like a dumbass ? this was what ? more than 10 years ago. hahahahaha, you have grown so much since then."

Is God sending me a sign ? Should I delete my OJ account ? :bamathink:

I remember the lowest points of my life, I can't really say that manga had positive impact on my situation, but it at least kept my mind of some issues, so I am grateful for that, I still read manga whenever I need to stop thinking about certain problems.

It has been quite the blessing actually

-Series like Dragon Ball motivate me to hit the gym and rock some pretty wild, unkempt but clean hair
Similar to these free form dreads
With my hair texture these were the closest I could manage to get to that spiky super saiyan look lol

-With Naruto it basically inspired me to never give up or betray my principles. Shit I don’t even quit multiplayer games no matter how bad i’m getting clapped

-With One Piece it taught me to always be myself (On here I am the opposite but It’s fun to do what I do 💀) and whoever doesn’t like it then well….f em

It also taught me to stick up for myself/fear no man. Cause no matter what, No matter how big and strong someone is compared to you, They’re human just like me.

I also don’t quit bosses who seem near impossible to beat

I would say so. Without me starting to watch anime I wouldn't have started joining forums and being able to converse with people about things I enjoy online.

Massively. The number 1 theme of shonen of starting from the bottom and getting to the top. Just putting gruelling hours of training, and bit by bit surpassing your own limits.

I'm still on this journey, but looking at how far I've come in my career, anime instilled that fire in me.
