it's obvious to anyone who isnt a moron that this guy is important. Not only that but he was actually named really early on, like Roger, Buggy, Shanks, Crocus and Rayleigh. Bullet, Oden, Neko, Inu, Seagull were all far less important to the story and named far later.

That's the best chapter I have read in a very long time without a doubt.
We finally get to know who and what the Rocks truly were and that not only Linlin and Kaido but also Whitebeard, Ms Bakkin, Shiki, Captain John and other legendary Pirates were rookies in this crew under the banner Rocks D Xebec who had a better Pirate King profile than even Roger as he not only wanted to truly rule the oceans unlike his foe but also managed to recruit in his crew all the most powerful and promising pirates of the world outside of Roger and was so powerful that Roger had to ally with Garp to defeat him.
We also finally get to see the bounties of the Yonkos and it isn't a surprised to see that Whitbeard had the highest bounty of them while Blackbeard has current the lowest and than Shanks had the lowest of the original four.
This makes me super excited for the next war in Wano.

The shear amount of Marine greatness in this chapter is crazy!

The true reason why Garp refuses to become Admiral is his disdain for the CDs.
Garp and Roger taking out the Rocks pirates.. Yikes!
One thing Sengoku said stuck out for me though. If BM and Kaido are stronger 38 years later then they were back during the Rocks era, are they now currently in their prime? If so, does it mean Marines from that same era are stronger now than back then?

Imo the greatest chapter Post-TS!
The bounty announcement of the current Yonko, WB AND Roger was absolutely amazing but the fact that Kaido, Big Mom AND WB were on the same crew before... How monstrous was the rocks crew? Lol.
And it seems WB is no longer Roger's strongest rival, it is actually Rocks D Xebec - epic. I hope he's not really dead and will have a major role in OP because this character is very interesting. He literally aimed to take Imu's role...

There was this idea few months back that since Kaido is WSC, he is stronger than WSM; the logic 'creature' encompasses everything including 'man'.
Today, it has been proved again that WSC < WSM and I am not only talking about the bounty. Among all the pirates that got their bounty revealed, only two was called 'legendary' and Kaido wasn't among them.
The fact is, WSM and WSS are the only two true titles. And mind it, WB became the holder of the title after Roger's death. For Mihawk, we don't know when it happened yet.
