I'm not an expert at this. I heard both increases and decreases can happen depending on market dynamics. I was told it was often to devalue wood, so it sells more.

Feel like the current war might actually succeed in largely destroying the Palestinian cause.
Like I doubt the Palestinians will ever truly forget their homelands. But much as the Jews did when they were exiled, I could see Palestinians creating some sort of religious cope so they can just move on and stop fighting the same war over and over.

smh, sometimes I wonder if that region is like a hotbed for insane people. On the jewish side at least, I know the religious Zionists do encourage immigration to Israel in order to help conquer the land from the Palestinians.
Similarly I feel like a lot of the Palestinians with more common sense might have given up on the cause and left in order to find a more peaceful future elsewhere. With the more radical people remaining, intent on fighting their cause till the bitter end.

But Israel objectively isn’t aiming for a complete eradication of all Gazans.
Their goal is the destruction of Hamas and other anti Israel groups and any war crimes they commit are simply in service to that goal.
Yes it is illogical to fight a war you have no chance of winning just because you hate your enemy. That is why their movement is so intertwined with Islam. If you couldn’t convince these people that throwing away their lives guarantees them a place in heaven, it just wouldn’t make sense.

The goal is not the destruction of Hamas, the goal is the colonization of Palestine and this can't happen unless they destroy ALL arabs of the regions because they see them as illegitimate and fundamentally inferior. Thus created a state of apartheid outside and INSIDE their OWN state.
Fighting against what we think is impossible is one of our best quality, it allows us sometimes to create solutions that we never thought of and push the limits of our understanding.
The resistance and thickness of Palestinians against the appartheid state of Israel is admirable. Yes, some movement are heavily criticizable, sometimes even doing criminal stuff that need to be denounced, but the strenght of Palestinian to endure ? This is a level of determination that will forever leave me speechless.
Islam is their tools to hold up.. So let them have that at least. Resistance against oppression is logical. It's human. It's one of the best thing we do. And yes, in this case it seems impossible. Until things start to change.
