Spoiler One Piece Chapter 1136 Spoilers Discussion

So the only way for the giants to tell kid off is for them to nuke them after surrendering?

I am pointing out how stupid and inconsistent it is. Shanks literally yells at Kid to surrender and give his poneglyph or fight them right in front of Dory and Brogy. Or do you as well believe the gains are deaf?

they knew the battle was for a rubbing, not for their stupid land
The giants don’t even know what those are. The giants only attacked cause kid pointed a weapon at their home. That’s the only reason they gave.

So what makes this Nika resurgence different, how will we guarantee the world won't be destroyed for the third time later on
It is likely Imu was never beaten before, unless they're defeated the cycle repeats
Am I missing something
:quest:
Actually we are missing everything,we have almost nothing about the Void and now Oda comes out and throws another mystery timeline into the mix :few:

Imu was a king from the void century, it is unlikely he was alive during the first cycle

Why is the WG only just trying to recruit Loki now if they could’ve tried to recruit him at any point in the last 6 years lol?
Because of plot. Why did Crocodile decide to nuke Alabasta only once the strawhats appeared? Why did Enel decide to nuke Skypiea only once the strawhats appeared? Why did Hody try to take over Fishman Island only once the strawhats appeared? Why did the WG only decide to execute Vegapunkt when the strawhats appeared?

Because nothing happens unless the protagonists are present. Blud's overcomplicating a shonen manga.
The real explanation is that Saint Shanks is a slave to his orders
So I'm still waiting to know how that slave attacked a WG ship to steal the fruit the WG and Gorosei were hunting for centuries. If Shanks is associated with the WG, it's literally in a way where the Gorosei bow down to Shanks and suck him. Saint Shanks can literally fuck them however he wants to and they will still respect him, sit down and listen to when he speaks, while they call Akainu, the most loyal soldier, a worthless dog.

If there was a world destruction and one nika before the void century does this mean that there could have been a big bad villain before Imu Sama?

@AverageNamiEnjoyer @nik87 @Sir Yasheen
Of course, that is exactly what it means.

Imu is the Sauron to the Sea Devil's Melkor, @nik87 .
Spot on! :datas:

I wonder whether Lunarians fear water. Their design looks like a devil, maybe they do fear water.
The Red Line's origin is still elusive, where did they get the red minerals and why it's inhabitable. Certainly not from the Earth. I thought about it maybe Lunarian brought them from one of the moon. idk..
I don't know if water is a problem for Lunarians by itself because it is a natural environment after all.
However, Sea God's water manipulation may be something else and indeed something Lunarians wanted to avoid by setting up HQ on the farthest point away from the sea...

It's probably the god Mihawk worships. Just like Kuma's religion turned out to be featuring Nika (liberator), Mihawk's god will too appear.

:sanmoji:
I remember seeing Salah mention this...
Idk, Mihawk never struck me as someone worshipping any deity.
In that regard, he is similar to Zoro.

What is odd to me is Mihawk's boredom, his lack of ambition and his knowledge of what goes on in Reverie...
A character inspired by Dracula... All about Mihawk screams to me far, far more than anything Oda even hinted at.
I don't like to claim anything without things to based it on but Mihawk could turn out far more than anyone ever expected.
And I am not talking about his individual power lvl.

@nik87

Nika > Joy Boy > Roger > Luffy

??? > Possible Void Century Evil D. > Xebec > Teach

The unknown figure from before the Void Century whom Teach inherited his will must be the one that caused the first world destruction.

While The Void Century Evil D. caused the second destruction.

Now if my calculations are correct, Xebec tried to accomplish the third destruction but failed, and now that dream was passed down to...

...

Masaka...

Could it be...
:milaugh:
Your timeline is likely correct.
Thematically, Blackbeard always was fitting as Luffy's ultimate nemesis.
Banaro Island basically foreshadowed this, Sun vs Darkness.

While Luffy isn't a flame user per se, he does have some fire powers and is, ultimately, a Sun God.
The only question is how much inheritance will Blackbeard embody. Will he carry on his shoulders all those before him or someone else will step in to play the big bad...
The same reason why Imu never clicked for me would apply to that big bad as well, alienation of the character. The only reason why people care about Imu is because they are betting that he is the final villain. Take that away from him and it is basically:

Blackbeard, on the other side, is probably the best-written villain in the story.
