Just glad this chapter will put an end to the 'loki is just a misunderstood good guy that holds no malice' and 'oda always subverts expectations so just believe the opposite of whatever's on screen!' stuff that people have been saying since they think he was framed or something lol. We only get more stories that show that Loki is plenty capable of acting maliciously, and that God's Knights clearly didn't have much background knowledge on him prior.
I'm confident Loki will have some moral grey to him and have something sympathetic to his past, considering he's ideologically driven enough to be his own person and reject the offer of being a CD lackey, but man- I can't believe a whole island full of people that are literally too naive/dumb to tell a lie properly were warning us about loki being chaotic, and then the first thing he does is talk about ending the world, while thinking about how he's gonna kill luffy for pissing him off the next chapter after smiling at the first opportunity to manipulate him, and in the end people were still seriously coming to the conclusion that Loki has to be a good guy. Because 'the animals like him', and because luffy has a magic ability to 'trust the right people always' and he's never been wrong about that apparently (same guy that let caribou go from udon btw) (same guy that trusted pudding at first, got betrayed, and then also thought she was genuinely a bad person after her initial betrayal, and was wrong both times btw).
Also this is OP, so tbr people are gonna be weirdly committed to something they were wrong about until the last possible moment- I can't imagine the hoops people are gonna jump through to defend the idea that this man would stick a sword through Ja Rule's head (after he made all those Ashanti songs possible), but would never kill his own father or whatever lol
