Funny how that nameless punch would end many characters careers.
People really don't see Kuzan insane portray, he is legit should to shoulder with the likes of Shanks for real, not like mihawk who has shifty everything and they make it up from nothing.

You can attribute this to the fact that Kaidou is the king of wisdom and that is one of his epithets, that is where all the source of knowledge comes from, he doesn't necessarily need to be from Wano to know about the Kouzuki, this shit may have been told in God Valley, who knows?

In Zou Kinemon said that Kaidou was hunting them because of the information he thinks they have regarding Laugh Tale, but says that Oden never told them. So Kaidou assumed that Oden wouldn't tell him?

Kaido didn't fool Oden in their fight and was extremely angered by the interference. Kaido didn't ask for help, he even killed the person who interfered.

We can't say for sure if Kaido feared death or not, but since he spent the great age of piracy hiding in Wano, only leaving for marineford until he ran away from Shanks, it's pretty likely that he wouldn't face death in the eye like Oden would. Did Oden refuse a rematch with Kaido? As far as I know, that never happened. It was just said that he was sentenced to execution. And why would he respect Odens wishes like that anyway? He took hostages previously and tricked the guy for years(since he didn't want to fight Oden 5 years ago). He then took out his anger on Oden on his family by killing his wife, tried to kill his son and also tried killing his own daughter because of how butthurt he was about getting a scar. Same with not asking him about laughtale. We have to believe that he allowed some samurai to live in his prisons for decades with the hope that he would break their spirit,but he didn't even try doing that to get the most useful Intel for a pirate? Why did he have Oden dance for him instead of asking for Intel on Laughtale? Why didn't he try using any hostages? It's just dumb. And the idea that he knows about Kozuki from god valley is just goofy.
