I get that, but at some point he´s gonna need to beat them up again. Or maybe not, but there should at least be some consequences
Serious question though, can anyone think of a reason why Kaido and the beast pirates never went to Elbaf to recruit Loki, or anyone really? Do you think they even know it exists? Maybe they were just content on running sweatshops in Wano making sure Smoker has seastone weapons to use on east blue pirates.

Kuzan downplayers, does the fact that Kizaru’s Egghead performance (while nerfed) is infinitely better than Kuzan’s Hachinosu performance despite Kuzan having more plot significance not give you any pause at all

Where did kaidou fear death?
Oden didn't want to, Kaidou let him decide that, he was loose in a prison with his swords and could choose to leave there whenever he wanted, he even received a visit from his wife. LOL
You can attribute this to the fact that Kaidou is the king of wisdom and that is one of his epithets, that is where all the source of knowledge comes from, he doesn't necessarily need to be from Wano to know about the Kouzuki, this shit may have been told in God Valley, who knows?
In Zou Kinemon said that Kaidou was hunting them because of the information he thinks they have regarding Laugh Tale, but says that Oden never told them. So Kaidou assumed that Oden wouldn't tell him?
Kaido didn't fool Oden in their fight and was extremely angered by the interference. Kaido didn't ask for help, he even killed the person who interfered.

That to said, someone like Kaido should accept a rematch, im pretty sure Oden would down on it too. Oden really wanted to life, someone who took one hour insane heat to prove that, wouldn't refuse a 1on1 rematch against Kaido.
Question is if Kaido had his drunken Modus back than too. We know Kaido didn't used everything, but Oden neither.
The fact Oden did something just a single, with all scabbards+rooftop five failed to do, proves his insane AP and the fact he could seriously kill Kaido with two-four more Hits.
Neither Asura or OKG of Luffy put Kaido into the states one simple adv CoC Clash of Oden did.
And Kaido knew this and didn't want to risk everything to build up.
What literally speaks against his character, but you know Oda.
