Luffys internal destruction haki did hurt Kaido, King shouldnt be any different case. Even better Katakuri can develop ACoc as a haki bloom in midst of battle.
Same Jack was defeated rather fast in wano battle by the same enemy with sulong version. Even greatest zoan dragon Kaido could not last for overnight.

King stated his durability is beyond that of dinosaurs(Queen) and dragons (Kaido).

But Kaido is much more than just a dragon.

Internal destruction attacks doesn't work on King or the seraphims who has King DNA. Luffy and Lucci both attacked S-Bear and failed to damage him. Whether you believe Luffy used internal destruction haki or not is irrelevant because we know Lucci used that type of attack and failed to hurt S-Bear.
Why was that? It's because of the difference between Kaido's durability and King's durability. Kaido's durability is limited to his skin. He has durable skin or scales.
King durability is it limited to just your skin. Is inside is just as durable as it's outside. That explained to us how King can survive in any natural environment. Natural environment includes extreme pressure and extreme temperature like freezing cold and scorching heat.
Katakuri doesn't have ACoC. You can't give him power you wished he had to make him stronger.
