It was never used in ancient Rome. This was an extrapolation from a painting and an appropriation by fascist.
Everyone, from New-York to New Delhi know the meaning behind this salute. There is no excuses. Musk has supported a neo Nazi friendly party, supported Nazi on twitter, spreaded Nazi rethoric himself.

I believe any baby born 30 days from the signing of the order who doesn’t have a PR or citizen for at least one parent won’t get citizenship. It doesn’t work retroactively.
not only does it screw the kids of illegal immigrants, it screws the kids of legal immigrants on work visas.
My parents are legal immigrants but I was born while they were on visa because it takes many years to get a green card. Guess it’s a good thing I was born before Trump lol.
hopefully the courts strike it down because it blatantly violates the 14th amendment
but if by some miracle they do uphold it, imho that would be legitimate grounds for secession.

Not quite. A lot of the amendmens were initially made vague to be open to interpretation for later societies. It's the main reason the 2nd Amendment and gun control is such a debated topic. The 1st Amendment is one fo the few that's set in stone, but they even find loopholes around that one.

A good way to understand and confirm what I have been saying here is by observing who is defending Musk in medias and internet.
And one of these groups are people who kept on trying to legitimize the genocide of Gaza and call antisemitic every studient protest. This is a clear case of two far right groups finding a common interest.
For example we have a guy in France who calls himself a leftist who has been constantly attacking the left on the principle that they are creating antisemitic dog whistle (the antifascist red triangle being one of them) and after Musk's gesture he said this:
"It's not a nazi salute, but the awkward gesture of a guy who sends hearts to a mob of fans. Even when the danger is in front of you, you keep fighting windmills"
This is not a surprise that the defensors of fascist methods are now defending a fascist gesture.
There is no "angle" in the nazi gesture. It's only about the arm. Stop the BS. Stop trying to defend this undefendable.
