Subverting expectations isn't always good, and on this very thread (and the spoiler thread before it) people are struggling to predict the following matchups and how the arc will actually develop and end.

Who cares about matchups when every match up is “protagonists fight to extreme diff while dialoguing and then get a power up to beat their opponent who seemingly had the upper hand”? I want villains that are intelligent, not convenient for matchups. No one with a brain is leaving Loki alive here. If they walk away when they could have killed him they will just be shown to be more idiots set up to waste my time watching fights that have no real consequences. He said to their face he thinks Tenryuubito are trash. That’s the death penalty right then if the characters are even remotely consistent.

8 years between the two events. The meeting with Lola must have happened in this time frame.
