I mean, I DO remember reading articles about American soldiers being told to shut up about the supposedly widespread enslavement / sexual abuse of young boys by certain US allies in Afghanistan. There's always two or more sides to a story.
That was a practice known as bacha bazi, which literally translates to 'boy play.' It involved powerful or wealthy local figures in Afghanistan 'convincing' young boys to dress in women's clothes and perform dances for their entertainment. These boys often came from impoverished families on the brink of starvation, who were forced to sell their sons to a bacha baz-a term used to describe a man involved in this practice, described as having the boys 'adopted' in exchange for food and money.

Many of the Afghan men involved in bacha bazi were warlords high up in the chain of command, and even local and border police forces had individuals who practiced it. U.S. servicemen did not address or attempt to outlaw this practice because it was considered a cultural norm in the region. Addressing it would have risked alienating key Afghan allies, which would have complicated the strategic relationships that the U.S. Army depended on to maintain stability and achieve their objectives...so from the commanders' POV, problematic incidents such as this could be ignored as long as it didn't directly interfere with whatever objectives the commanders of the operation had in mind at the time.

Some service members did report the practice to their commanders, but they were told there was nothing that could be done. They were explicitly instructed to ignore it and move on. One Green Beret, Sgt. 1st Class Charles Martland, reacted by striking an Afghan police officer after the officer admitted to sexually assaulting a boy and beating the boy’s mother for reporting it to the authorities. However, Martland’s actions resulted in him being 'relieved of duty' for assault.

Luckily he was reinstated as a result of the to public backlash from the American public, but it could be argued that he never should have been relieved of command in the first place.

That's what he does usually?

Fluffy you're using the internet as of right now, nothing stops you from looking up topics you don't know much about. Every person who knows their shit looked it up at some point. This level of education resistance seen in political extremists is reaching ridiculous levels.
Keep making up apocalyptic scenarios and calling people uneducated because of it lol. Guess this forum is full of Nobel prizes.
By the way, how come pro-war guys like you and someone else here always say "I'd go but they wouldn't recruit me". I am starting to notice a trend.

Sad thing is that Logiko would have way more support if he just change his approach. .
Yup I agree.

Logiko do make sense sometimes. His arguments are structured and have logical basis in many instances.

He do poses critical thinking. He is soft spoken as well (ignoring his labelling)

But, as you said, it's his approach.

I think he has emotional defensive side - he has tendency to takes arguments personally - a different opinion as an attack to his knowledge and his hard core beliefs.

And, he ends up labelling people or telling them they know nothing and thus come across as arrogant/authoritarian.

No. It was not personnal. It's was both a defensive tactic and a political strategy. I explained that in the thread I just made.

I never took anything really personnaly here, even when multiple people were insulting my mental health. I went on this forum with a glass screen in front of me to protect myself. I knew from the start (even before joining) how the people would react to the behavior as it is how I have always faced hatred and toxicity on the internet.

I only thought that I would be able to reason One Piece fans with logic. But I was wrong. So this tactic is a bit useless now. And I know for a fact that gentleness will not help. I tried that tactic many time in different places. It's useless.

The reality is that our confirmation bias and the halo effect are b*tches.

If you know someone good, they will have a lot more chances to convince you. On the other hand, if someone you don't know or have no reason to respect starts to say something you disagree with, you will start to apply your disagreement on the nature of the person and confuse the two.

This means that unless you are very nice, it's almost impossible for someone to convince an unknown individual. Now, the problem here arrives when we talk about oppressions...

In the context of someone enabling an act of oppression, someone like me who fight them daily can't simply be respectful of the opinion of the other person. It's not fair to ask me that, I can't simply risk the danger of the words of someone hurting another.

I know full well that words can kill.

This means that if someone starts to have an oppressive behavior or enables one, I will be forced to be an opposing force.

This also means that if I follow my motto and I want to stay here, I'm will be doomned to be a force of opposition even conflictual against anyone who says something harmfull.

And since I consider the fanbase of One Piece politically, I also know how harmfull it can be for the fanbase to turn hatefull. So this means that I can't even just talk about One Piece here. I will be forced to fight negativity in every corner.

I thought I could do that. In fact I thought that I could do that in many places, not just this forum. This was a simply political strategy and a evidence created by my political belief system.

But no more.

Now, I have accepted the impossibility of not being able to force change, at least not by me. My opinions are too radicals for the majority of people here, they will never be able to accept them. And I will never be able to repress myself if I see someone going full berserk conservative and toxic here.

So, I need to find a way to escape this forum and my political methodology and find something more constructive to do with it. Closer to my political side.

Hence why I'm leaving. Not because I'm mad or frustrated, but because It's useless and I'm fighting the wind. This has become meaningless and is therefore starting to exhaust me greatly.

I'll let a chance to more positive people to make a change. In the hope that this forum and our fanbase starts to look for a new path.

The US Marine Corps Is On The Border Assisting CBP With The Mission To Secure America

Promise Made --> Promise KEPT!
and...a president that keeps his promise to his voter base (or just the people that voted for Trump) has their loyalty solidified.

Trump is going to be seen as either the God Emperor or Bowser to a whole lot of people, depending on their political stance.

I don’t know why exactly the military is needed to push back a bunch of unarmed migrants, mostly just random families.

looks more like he’s posturing, which I guess has some value as it will scare people off crossing illegally and committing crimes across the border.

Trust me Elon needs Trump more than Trump needs Elon .

Trump has no worries after this term he will retire in his Maralago with all lawsuit settled .

Elon needs to suck up for SpaceX contracts in future as well . He is a snake I won’t be surprised if he becomes liberal in 4 years .

He seems fucking insane

I feel like he’ll have some sort of fall from grace like Kanye, where his business fails and he’s forced out of his company after selling stocks

One thing which sets Trump apart from majority of the leaders is he follows up on what he says during election campaigns.

Most politicians make promises in manifesto and speeches but hardly live upto them in same letter and spirit once in power.

Trump - he lives upto it as much as it's in control. Releasing JFK and MLK files are case in point.

And, I think this is why his support base doesn't diminish. He does what he said before election. So, if majority elects him and he does exactly what he promised - then it simply implies majority wanted it

I played this game called Democracy 4, where you effectively become president of a country.

1 way to play is to become dictator, and the easiest way to do this is to cause hyperinflation and exercise emergency powers.

Trump has already committed to several inflation-inducing policies… namely; excessive tariffs, eliminating a massive portion of field workers, trying to force interest rates downwards, etc

Conceptually, Trump could cause hyperinflation, claim economic state of emergency, use SCOTUS to expand powers and then we may be fucked.

The issue is that the US constitution simply doesn’t allow for a person to become a dictator.

Trump can’t run a third term
Trump can’t dissolve congress

Trump did give himself a conservative majority in the courts, but that doesn’t mean those people are actually loyal to him. They have lifetime appointments and have no reason to sacrifice their legacy for Trump.

Trump can at worst push the country slightly closer to totalitarianism, which is bad. But he’s not going to be the one who breaks it.

Yeah, he's a fan of elon now. So much for being "anti-capitalist"
These clowns have no integrity

These boys often came from impoverished families on the brink of starvation, who were forced to sell their sons to a bacha baz-a term used to describe a man involved in this practice, described as having the boys 'adopted' in exchange for food and money.
And that's why infanticide is a good thing. Better kill them right after birth than sell them to pedos.

It depends honestly he is inclining towards politics he stopped looking after Tesla /Spacex long time ago he has capable people looking after it .

Elon wants to be like Peter Thiel /Rupert Murdoch working from behind the scenes and help reshaping next generation politicians . He handpicked JD Vance for Trump because of Ohio votes .
