Just my opinion but Oda loves Saint Shanks too much to put him below a title that limits his potential strength (ceiling would be Mihawk), so I wholeheartedly believe he will save him from that just like he saved him from Killer's statement that Kaido is the strongest pirate because Killer has never seen Saint Shanks fight and thus can't judge his strength.
