There's really nothing Oda could do for swordsman with creative fighting style and unique power different from other swordsman. Just the same sword slash/wave and some haki spark
A mythical zoan with versatile abilities coming from a sword is the only way Oda can make another high profile swordsman different from each other swordsman.

There are only so many ways to separate different fighters with the exact same style

Even in Rurouni Kenshin the author had to come up with a bunch of different fighting styles (half of them being illogical) in order to keep it interesting
