I am open to it but I dont see it, he literally build Mary Joie above the red line which we assume is the serpent that helped the earth god fight Nika, Luffy will destroy the red line and the serpent will help Imu in the fight is my theory.

If hes an incarnation of the devil then he likely manipulated her and the others, the devil is a known manipulator anyways and remember Luffy kind of is altered personality wise by his fruit its possible that Imu was a good guy, inherited the power and it corrupted him.
