The Ancient Kingdom seems like be able to weaponize the serpent, this will explain why Imu's 20 kingdoms wage war with AK. Assumes Imu is the dragon in the middle who sent by Forest God, he can summons demons, and he clashes with the serpent.
I want to add more to the hypothesis. The serpent's X shape might be the scars and the line patent is mechanic parts of weaponization. The Ancient Kingdom modified the serpent into a cyborg to gain control of it.

Pretty minor detail compared to the rest of the chapter, but the confirmation of the ability to hide your presence helps somewhat remove the “Absalom’s fruit? Really?” cloud that’s been hanging over Shiryu.

Potential Plot Hints
  • The story is clearly pointing toward a grand clash between the Gods (Sun, Earth, Sea, Forest).
  • The Sun God (Nika, Luffy) is central to breaking the cycle.
  • Humanity’s role in killing the Sun could mean Joy Boy was betrayed in the past.
  • The God of the Sea’s anger might mean Poseidon (Shirahoshi) has a role in changing fate.
  • The Third World suggests that the Sun will rise again, hinting at Luffy’s role in shaping the final era.

"They could never / will surely meet again" might be a reference to humanity and the "sun" separating and reuniting.
The "sun" in this case is a metaphor or the vehicle for "freedom" "dreams" "desires" or even the sum total of it all like "one piece".
It all boils down to a battle of ideals, and in each "world" the ideology that won, shapes it.
So humanity and the "sun" have been separated for millennia, and them reuniting will be "one piece".

The “forbidden sun” got me thinking, what exactly could humanity by desire touch that would ruin the world like this?

And the way the world was destroyed darkness and fire made me think of a quote from Lord of the rings, and it made me realize there’s a possibility that the forbidden sun is the earths core.

As Saruman Said: “Moria. You fear to go into those mines. The dwarves delved too greedily and too deep. You know what they awoke in the darkness of Khazad-dum… shadow and flame!”

Perhaps this is something similar to what occurred here in the first world. The humans out of their greed and desire began to use the earths core itself as a power system, and maybe what powered the ancient kingdom in general.

The “Dig too Deep” trope sure as hell ain’t a new one and Oda is very likely aware of it because of one of japans most beloved Kaiju, Radon. The Flying Kaiju of fire who awoke because of this exact trope. (And I’m pretty sure at this point a lot of Kaiju were retconned to have been hatched/awoken due to mining).

So perhaps that’s what really started all this off, humanity greedily deciding to mine the core of the earth itself causing the awakening of these two monsters that ended the first world.

I think it's simply about the races who got separated by the red line. For the vast majority of the people in the OP world it's absolutely impossible to simply travel long distances.

Gaban haters in the mud.

GOLD Roger
SILVERs Rayleigh
sCOPPER Gaban

People really thought Oda would make him irrelevant cause he's not as big as Rayleigh.

:josad:

W Gaban.
People think it's Shiki, cause they assume he has blonde hair. Gaban is an old man, his hair turned gray. That is it.

Did all of humanity come from the moon or only a part? And if the latter, which of the two WS responsible for it?
