Now thatโ€™s more like it! The ancient history has always been one of the best elements of One Piece.

So it seems that Imu is indeed related to a being from Hell. All his servants are either demonic figures or related like Cerberus. Also explains the entire theme of the Celestial Dragons; ruled by the Devil, that Serpent of old, the Dragon of Revelation.

Weโ€™ve gotten a lot of info on the Second World, Joyboy and his group against Imu and the humans soon to become CDโ€™s.
Seems like Devil fruits were provided by the god of the forest, so that would imply they came into being in the 2nd world. Also seems like all the different races did so as well.

The First World which we know the least about is now the most interesting and confusing to me.
Seems like a futuristic society based on slave labour and possibly one king (is that Imu?)
Seems like the forbidden sun is the Mother Flame and may actually be the earthโ€™s core?
That would explain why the god of earth is enragedโ€ฆor that may just be the king getting upset about the slaves manifesting Nika.

Looks like Zunesha is from the First World too, not just the Second. Seems like the king rode Zunesha to the devil in the tree. Is that the crime that Zunesha committed?

Imuโ€™s power is seemingly less and less devil fruit based, so they may be channeling the serpent of hell โ€œmagicโ€ directly which would explain a lot.

So many questions!!!

Iโ€™m actually looking at some stuff from Zou already, Skypiea does factor in but not as heavily since the lore from there is well established. Identifying the gods mentioned there is a red herring.
Gold Roger's Flashback, Robin's Ohara flashback, stuff said in Zou, info about Wano's ancient weapon and Fishman Island predictions about Luffy are important too.

I wonโ€™t be retreading any ground, mainly focused on identifying the symbols in the mural

That's kind of wild if Gaban is overshadowed by a epic Legendary Historical One Piece Mural.. :milaugh:

Definitely Sanji's parallel.. Cucked once more..
Considering this chapter confirmed it to be Shiki this take is <

Vegapunk was too fucking lazy to go to elbaf and see this crazy mural? This is more important than the bullshit he wasted weeks so he can talk about coffee.

Also where is the elephant on the mural?
Heโ€™s a scientist, he doesnโ€™t put any conclusive stock in ancient murals drawn by children
A nod to the near complete absence of interdisciplinarity among certain fields of research

So Shiki was part of the Roger pirates?..

Also, i count 7 Gods in the Mural..
No one said anything about the person here being a Roger pirate, but I understand the mistake. You are thinking that Oda used the mention of Roger pirates to hint the identity of the figure shown in the next panel, but he is actually just muddying the waters to keep people interested like he did covering up Shamrockโ€™s eye.

There are only 2 so-called gods on the mural, so, stay tuned.

A major theme, Oda represents this in part in the bottom right where people are born, have their innocence, descend into the earth, turn their innocence into ambition, bring it to their religious leader who amplifies their dream, which is then fed back into the grotesque machine and spit out to continue the cycle. Breaking this cycle by unifying the controlling religious system with technological advancement will be a main thematic goal.

It's pretty basic context lead up transition, it's a Roger Pirate..

Well your analysis is already a fail, cause there are 7 gods with reincarnations there..
