So Zou is most likely just an actual member of the Naitamie-Norida Elephant

The ''devil'' is the humanoid form of the dragon, when he stabbed Cobra his tail was devil like too. You can see the horns of the dragon appearing on the humanoid form too, and the sun is likely the mother flame that they used against Joyboy it probably was destroyed or something and now they want a new one. The gorosei mentioned that the war is still ongoing and they want to end it with the motherflame,etc.

Imu gives people power and renders them immortal, thats not what a normal dragon does. And its literally a deal with the devil as he can take it all back and kill you if you dont serve him.

The marines didnt exist back then they were founded after the WG was founded, they were likely underdevelopped countries vs the ancient Kingdom who was technologically advanced, you gotta remember that the world just went through an apocalypse and civilzation was barely restarting in world 2. World 3 is even less developped.

Mural is divided into two worlds.

Right side of Mural - depicts World one (read the lore)

Some figures are fighting..no one knows shit. Everyone is speculating lol

Left side of Mural - depicts world two

Some figures are engaged in war. Possibly ImU and co vs Joyboy allies


It ended with Nika's death
WG formation followed by events since that time until Nika rises again.

It does resemble an elephant vaguely.

But the more i look, the less convinced i am.

Surely oda could/would have drawn zou better than this?

The other creatures are all identifiable easily.

But if it is Zou, then the crime it committed is serving imu it seems.

I know there are a lot. We don't see any buccaneer or any Ancient Kingdom's army.
