Already a thread for this with a poll but I think the subject here is a little different. The mural text made me think why BBs body has been hyped and the thing that struck me was that he is anomaly. Just like Shirahoshis birth and Momos and the timing of all this. Why can the same not happen to BB. He may or may not have special lineage but the thing is that he was born different. Currently the theories have been limited to BB having 3 DFs at max. But what if he could actually have more. Him already having 2 DFs is breaking the rule so why limit him to three. And there is no suggestion that he can only have 1 of each type. The reason is because while his crew have been given quite a lot of DFs and some of them pretty good too and we know BB has pretty good knowledge of DFs so they are not hunting just shitty fruits like the jacket/pocket fruit.

While BB already had a logia and paramecia he still went for another paramecia (Hancocks) for himself. The point here is that he wanted it for himself and not for someone else and the DF was so important that both the WG (WG might have other reasons too) and BB went right after it. I mean BB could have taken the island, the invis, the strength, the teleportation, the pegasus (zoan probably mythical) for himself but he did not. There is also nothing to suggest that BB wanted to give Hancocks DF to any of his crew members.

So he is the shadow with the darkness fruit which allows him to consume many more DFs than just two and he will be the ultimate villain for Luffy. He already has death/destruction (Gura) and darkness (Yami), he will become stronger than any previous villain of either age/world. Imu will be a stepping stone for him.

We don't even know what one piece is or where it is exactly.

That's not a reason to doubt roger.

one piece is one of the most important things in the story. It was always mentioned to be at raftel. And oda has said it is something tangible.

it is not a given at all.

Could go either way depending on when the wg war happens.

i believe he said finding the treasure will conclude the treasure search part of goofy's journey.

Also

meaning they will learn the true history before challenging the wg.

"When someone finds that treasure, the world will be shaken to its core"

Meaning the wg will be toppled after the treasure is found.

Fair questions but I think the answer to many of them is - because Oda wants it that way.
Aka he wants each type of DF on him and Hancock's fruit was there just to throw us off.
Also, the same for number of DFs he can eat, in verse probably explained through number of souls.

Cavendish has already confirmed that 2 souls can live inside one and the same body.
That might take away from Blackbeard being unique in that way but since Cavendish wont eat DFs, BB is safe.
3 fruit max is to not oversaturate his skillset to end up using just one ability of each fruit and croak...

One hand being offensive Gura, the other hand being defensive Yami and the only thing left is to boost his body with Zoan.

Thing is that the final fight is a battle royal and people still didn't realize about this
It's simple luffy anti is BB not imu or akainu zoro anti is mihawk not Shiryu or nusjuro that's why battle royal make a lot of sense remember he said that he wants to make the biggest war besides is going to be the characters from 1121 spread are going to be there how loda is going to manage all of this like everyone reaching there? Well let him cook And btw is going to be in laughtale and series is going to end after that because loda said after finding the one piece the series is going to end up there

Whitebeard didn't say finding the treasure starts the war, he just says it'll turn the world upside down. He brings up a great war, but no where does he say finding the One Piece initiates it. The context of Whitebeard's speech could be that someone will fight the world for the One Piece and will shake the world to its core when it's found, and based on Oda's quotes and the story's direction, that's very likely.

Here's Oda's quote from his talk with Aoyama.

Oda: I’ve always pictured what the final chapter of ‘ONE PIECE’ would be like, though from time to time, the situation surrounding it changes. It will still be over whenever the One Piece is found in the series, haha. Anyway, this next arc is the final one.

Here's the Ch. 979 SBS. He didn't say finding the One Piece ends Luffy's journey but rather differentiating "quitting" with "ending." For example, if you beat a game, you didn't quit it, it's just the game is over.

Okay. It’s not so much that I’m “quitting” as that the series will end when I’ve finished drawing the most exciting part of Luffy’s adventures, which is the big story of what the One Piece is.

This quote from the same SBS reinforces the search for One Piece being the war Whitebeard was talking about.

But right now we’re in a really exciting story in the land of Wano, but if Luffy manages to survive and sail away, I’ll be drawing major international developments, the “biggest battle in One Piece history,” which will be a thrilling and wild story the likes of which no one’s read before.

I think the final chapter of One Piece will be something like that theory about blowing up the Red Line.
