Tbh, BB can already become the strongest opponent of Luffy just with Gura and Yami alone.

No DF BB is no joke either if he can one up someone like Shanks.

BB's only weakness right now is his durability, maybe he'll get Imu's power that'll make him seemingly invincible or maybe he'll ally with Imu.

What was the thing with Cavendish again? Now you made me thing BB might actually be possessed with evil spirits or something...

Cavendish holds the soul of Hakuba inside of him.
They switch places when one falls asleep.
Which is very similar to Blackbeard never sleeping.

If another soul is stored inside Blackbeard as well, it might be the reason why he was able to eat another DF.
That second soul might be the "fragmented moon".
Obviously, for 3rd Devil Fruit, he would need a 3rd soul inside him and that is the interesting part, how those souls find their way inside him.
