Future Events Final 1v1 with Blackbeard. No Fight against Akainu, and Raid Fight against Imu

Yeah pretty sure we'll see a similar scenario to Naruto

Luffy and the rest of the D(including Teach) vs Imu, then Teach comes out and does something to cement himself as the king of the world and series end with their 1v1

Just buying fucking BB stocks at this point and sell Imucoin sometime this year

Imu is no fraud but he is not the final villain that’s Goofy has to beat that’s for sure

Both Imu and Blackbeard won't be 1v1s. Akainu might legitimately be the last traditional 1v1 Luffy will get.

He has never defeated an Admiral, something he said he needs to do. Akainu vs Dragon is another possibility, but Dragon so far hasn't shown any interest in fighting the Navy.

If Oda does something else with Saka we can't know.

the Marines aren't staying with the WG to the end,

I have no idea how Akainu will be handled, but Fujitora subplot will make Marines join against Imu

Sabo's chances of fighting Akainu have gone down considerably imo. Now that Shamrock exists, it's looking more and more likely that there are atleast 2 top tiers linked to the Holy Knights (Garling and son), which conveniently fills both slots for Dragon and Sabo (kind of a father son combo of their own).

Luffy vs Akainu was always set in stone thanks to the scar. It was just a matter of whether Luffy sees it all the way through to the end, and yea with the prominence of the Holy Knights, Sabo has effectively been given a legit role. So Luffy is probably going to be the one to not only fight, but also defeat Akainu.

I like this theory, not sure if old man Shamrock can tango with Dragon though...

Akainu vs Luffy
BB vs Luffy

Two solo Luffy fights

Anyone else bar Luffy defeating them won't make sense at all

Akainu can flip in whatever ways he wishes to after Luffy beats him

It could be that Blackbeard absorbs Imu powers and becomes final villain.

But this does not have narrative importance Blackbeard is recent minor figure.

Imu is ancient enemy destined to clash with Nika.
