No I don’t think Luffy or Gaban will have a serious fight. But I do think that there are going to be things that Gaban can teach Luffy in terms of haki to be specific.

There is no tutorial about COC
And about the other Haki if I'm not mistaken Luffy used the word "master" for COA
Only the ability to kill COO remains, which currently only Shanks has this ability
Gaban must first prove that he is a COC master, which seems unlikely

There has to be a way to damage the gorosei. I’m guessing it’s through haki. Luffy can also improve on what he knows.
