They spent years trashtalking Bleach and Naruto just for Luffy to be just another MC who's destined to save the world

But look at you now talking and praising Oda for doing these stuff you fought against

I can't wait for Ace to be brought back and Roger to be alive at Laugh Tale as a spirit
Don't worry we will soon have Luffy meeting the pas Nikas and Joboys in ancestral realm and get the last PU

Everyone that said that was in denial because half of these things have either been implied since the beginning or were straight up there forever

The prophecy involving Fishman Island being destroyed was brought up hundreds of chapters ago

Luffy inheriting the Strawhat which was previously owned by another D with conqueror's haki and the voice of all things (Roger)

The list just goes on

Idk if people were ever truly against this tbh. Most people believed the final villain would be 3 DF Blackbeard who would most definitely be the strongest character by a mile. He's been replaced by Imu but the concept (strength wise) is the same

Luffy saving the world has been predetermined since like... Marineford? 99% of people knew the ending had something to do with the fall of the WG. If you think about it nothing has truly changed

The Celestial Dragons will be dragged down, the Marines will be reformed under Fujitora or Koby, etc. This has been the general consensus in the community for years

I'd bet my account on this never happening lol

Luffy's last few powerups will be a few different things that we're already learning about

He hasn't fully masted haki (worse observation than Gaban, worse CoC than Joyboy/Shanks) nor has he mastered his fruit (stamina issues)

He's a long way off from reaching his peak. Plus it's been heavily implied that his fight against Imu won't be a 1v1 anyway

You guys truly don't understand the difference between following tropes in an uninspired manner and the execution of said tropes. All stories follow tropes, what makes them great is how they're executed. Even the most unique shonen (HxH) still follows certain tropes almost to a T.

You guys don't know the first thing about good storytelling.

In bleach , after soul society arc , all story goes the point nothing make sense. So many big hole in story. Author always brings solution from nowhere.
my dear ichigo lost his all power because of aizen fight , you are expecting his power will come back with very special way, solution , lets touch our swords to ichigo to give his power back . if that is easy , wtf we read all shittty arc dude.
Most funniest thing is that we habe never seen Yamamoto ( 1000 year legendatry captain of soul society has won one single fight during whole story :)))) alwys getting L . eehehehehe :)))
