Is Bleach Better than Kingdom?

It is rare for Hara to have bad ideas.

It's become far too common that the EXECUTION of those ideas are done poorly.

Aside from some of the contrived bullshit early in the arc, I have no problems with the ideas Hara has presented in the arc. A lot of them are better than good, they're fucking great.

Which makes it all the more frustrating when he underwhelms.

This is a much more pivotal battle.

Plus, Rei Ou was killed when Wei had pretty much lost already.

Shin slaying Haku at the time he did, and in the manner he did it, is going to have immediate consequences for the state of Han itself.
I'm talking about which head was more valuable, not which battle was more pivotal. Reiou staying alive could cause Qin problems in a long term, not just in the context of battle.

Nah, that would be Reiou (even tho Shin was a bit lucky to get him).
Rei Ou was blind luck. Shin didn’t best Reiou at all, he kind of just randomly stumbled upon him and got lucky with the kill.

Keisha was a big achievement too but he definitely didn’t represent for Zhao what Hakuokoku represents for Han. The stakes were also nowhere near as high.

Reasonable people can disagree, but I think Haku had more value by virtue of being 1 of just 2 noteworthy generals Han has and Rei Ou spending 14 years in prison on top of being 1 of 4 Great Generals.

Peak for peak, I think it's almost a no-brainer Rei Ou was more valuable.

This was a good fight and the last attack by Shin looks cool and is satisfyingly brutal but what's the point of having him win every war with a duel? Haku by virtue of his position should be a capable general but still not quite a Riboku level tactician so it would have been a good opportunity to utilize some instincts for the W.
"Oh this is my Kaishibou repellent formation" which Shin somehow figures out and then has this duel.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I'm loving this arc so far and Shin vs HKK was a great fight considering Qin is on a time restraint for this war so a prolonged fight between generals is exactly what they're hoping to avoid.
I’m liking the arc a lot as well

I'm honestly disinclined to discussing Kingdom on this forum. Too many nitpicking schizos on here man.

While I do think the series has declined a little in quality, the tweakers are over exaggerating.
I agree.
It’s a very very vocal group that are spewing a lot of the dislike though. Loving, liking, disliking, hating the series are all fine but for some it feels like EVERY comment or post by some specific people is very negative. Makes the fandom quite unenjoyable or even toxic, and no it isn’t just because people don’t like it as much, it’s the barrage of negativity.

I remember TMF had a period like it around 2016, but those few members left and got bored so it got more fun again.

he’s saying Reiou was the biggest name he killed I think.
tho we could discuss how powerful the fd name was at that point tbf

I did not think about this, but you may just be on to something. If Yoko survives this will he be joining the Hi Shin unit or just protecting the princess of Han?
My bias wants him to join the HSU. :PepeNumberOne:

It would be cool for Shin to start convincing and recruiting enemy Generals in the name of uniting China. Renpa recruited Kyouen after fighting him so I would like to see Shin achieve a similar feat at least once.

Regardless, Qin does need to show that they aren't just going to wipe out wholesale the Generals and soldiers of every state that they conquer. Kanki tanked their PR so Tou and Shin are going to need to claw it back.

I talked about this a lot in TKC lol.

My problem with Yoko Yoko joining the HSU is he is just too powerful overall to be a subordinate of Shin at this point.

This dude is a warrior relative to Gaimou while also being competent enough to be allowed to speak on military affairs at the Han court. Shin has no other subs even close to that level.

Dismounted Kyoukai may as well be top 1 as a fighter, but on horseback she is basically nerfed to Aisen level or below. Even dismounted, her ability to affect the battlefield as a whole has never been shown to be all that high. She is purely a 1v1 atrocity and not that great of a force on the actual battlefield. Outside of the worst moment in Kingdom with Kaishibou’s elites I guess. And in terms of her IQ, she has her moments but I definitely don’t see a state capital inviting an untrained assassin to give military insight at this point lol.

And outside of Kai, who does the HSU even have? No one even close to Yoko’s level I can tell you that much. Sure Shin’s commanders can stall him by ganging up on him, but individually none of them are close to Yoko in any way.

Yoko Yoko is literally a Shin-ish caliber fighter while also being a better mind than anyone Shin has besides Karyo Ten. Nah, he’s just too stacked. Yoko Yoko would be a scary vassal for an actual Qin 6, Shin ain’t there yet.

A man can dream. :josad:

Yoko even has the Karyo Ten hat aesthetic. :pepehands:
