Devil fruit
Either cloud fruit for utility boost and Nami synergy or a food related fruit.
His armament and observation haki will get better, he is very durable and has regen already, not getting CoC. Devil fruit or some tweak to his body modifications is next step.

I'm not ruling anything out, but I do think if Oda had any desire for Sanji to have projectile attacks, he would have had him rip off Rankyaku as well. Don't you think?

Sure, that's a fair assertion and a cool concept. Maybe Oda might even do that in the future.

I do think Sanji's love power is his most likely major powerup in the near future tbh, I just like the idea of him getting a ranged move.

But if he can do to all projectiles what he did to Kizaru's laser, then he won't need a ranged move.

I think Oda very much called attention to there being an as-of-yet unexplained cause for Sanji's ability to generate fire. Queen mentioned Lunarians, but I think we would've learned the truth by now if that was the case.

My present theory, and it's a long shot, I admit, is that Sanji's genetic modifications included Buccaneer DNA, and that Buccaneers have the ability to convert emotions into power, and in Sanji's case fire.

I suspect we will learn there are more Buccaneers and those with Buccaneer ancestry in the story than initially anticipated. Blackbeard seems very likely, but I also think that applies to Whitebeard and possibly others.

Yeah the way Oda mentioned in the SBS to keep our eye on Sanji and that DJ didn’t come from the power of science, I feel like Oda may finally explain DJ and what the “power of love” is. It’ll probably give us a fair guess for Sanjis future power ups as well

Maybe instead of Lunarians there’s another forgotten race called Solarians, who are descended from Nika. I still think Sanji’s mum being named Sora after the marine hero is foreshadowing something. Like Judge who knew the comics, why would he marry her if Sora was an enemy of Germa?!

I think his future most important powerup will be related to fire in some way. He's still an anomaly in the way he can just make fire for no reason. Maybe he will actually become Black Leg Sanji and make black fire that's mixed with haki in some kind of way

It could be another race, and I do think Judge wouldn’t marry solely for love or lust, but we’re also pretty late into the game and there most named species are still largely mysterious, idk if Oda will be adding more to that.

Perhaps a SBS will reveal Sora was the daughter of a concubine to a CD, married to Judge in a political marriage as an incentive and/or reword for his scientific contributions.

In terms of Haki, in continuing with the trend of him achieving the invisibility he yearns for, one of the powers he might achieve is true presence concealment. An advanced application of observation and/or conqueror's that's super rare or unique to Sanji.

- He's going to unlock both adhaki at least.

- May give him adcoc especially if gaban shows it next chapter.

- Give him a improved ij that's even hotter.

- Likely get a sh version of the raid suit.

- improves physically
If sanji gets these he can reach top tier.

In my opinion:
1. Future Sight - This would be great for Sanjis fighting style and really complement his speed. The reason I say that is because speed seems to be the best counter to FS but if the user is as fast as Sanji it’ll be almost impossible to outspeed him.

2. ACoA Internal Destruction - This would add a lot to Sanji’s fighting style. He is a CQC master that focuses on potency as opposed to AOE so this would add to the potency of his attacks and allow him to bypass the defenses of characters like Kaido and Big Mom.

There are a few more things that would really push him over the edge but I don’t think are necessary like:

ACoC - just to add power (but Oda can already buff his attack power however much he wants.

Ranged Attacks - But his speed should allow him to blitz most characters to dodge or attack which can cover range.

I think the two points earlier should be enough to get him to low top tier or maybe even mid. Mind you, in my opinion low top tiers are people like Law and mid top tier would be someone like Kizaru.
