Gaban legit almost one shot Luffy if Zoro didn’t step in? I think you’re vastly overestimating Luffy.
We have to see the pics but i doubt gaban attack was about to one shot luffy even in base.
Trust me i not overestimating Luffy , i though Oda would have gaban fighting G5 luffy .
Like i said this is Oda holding back when you look at how he is treat luffy during the series as a hype tool.

I was honestly expecting to see a Kaido Seraph in Egghead, surprised Oda never did it.
Egghead probably would have been a bad time to do S-Kaido cause the audience had literally just gotten away from Kaido being the main antagonist in a 150 chapter arc.

A Kaido comeback in the literal next arc probably would have been unwelcome. An S-Kaido being introduced later as a trump card would make for a more dramatic moment.

Base goofy is ass
Kaido played with his food
It was in fact the opposite my guy. Kaido was spamming named moves and giant AdCoC attacks while Goofy was running around and laughing and making attacks on the spot.

The fact is that base Luffy’s rival (Kaido) was never a match for Nika unless Nika was trolling and having fun.

You think Kaido slander is bad right now? Lol

Zoro is going to end up fighting a better version of Kaido
Zoro with 1 more mid fight Powerup destroys Kaido I fear, he is already close to Top Tier just needs 1 smal push. People overrated Kaido for too long and just now waking up bro strugled against base Luffy who Kizaru and Gaban beat low diff

Luffy is not beating any admrial there no need for it in the story .
There not the bad guys in the story even Akainu nice compare to the CDs and luffy will most likly not fight him .
I think Sabo defeating Akainu is a possibility. That said, I think the pivotal admiral situation will center around Akainu killing his daughter. Most authors strive for parallels. Oda is a stream of consciousness writer, thus, parallels are not a high priority, so my thinking may be off-base.

First, Akainu was hellbent on ending the lives of the children of Roger and Dragon. More recently, we have the scene where Akainu commented about how/why Kuma had no reason for living when Kuma endured Akainu's attacks and then escaped with ease to go help Bonney. Shortly thereafter, we have story elements with Akainu's daughter (newly introduced?) vs. BB's crew. I think there is a decent probability of the Gorosei or BB's crew facilitating/tricking Akainu into landing a fatal hit to his daughter and going insane and then destroying himself.

@AkainuTheGrimReaper, et al., thoughts? Approach it from a storytelling perspective, not power-scaling.
