And, having Gura gives him offensive abilities but BB just like Luffy is also careless so he always ends up on receiving end of an attack and his pain gets amplified.

I always said luffy was ever as strong as yonkou or admiral.
He trades stamina in return of Strength.

Other zoan don't let you use fruit to fullest for a few minutes of tike like luffy fruit does , G2, G4, G5.

Obviously he will block it like everyone else knowing yami will amplify his pain

But it's still a massive drawback because in a fight he's bound to receive attacks and then he has to bear amplified pain - and pain eventually wears one's will and strength so it will have effect on his stamina and haki as well.
