Theres also the thing replacing mihawk that could make it easier to capture him


The marines can definitely have more than enough power to capture a single top tier



He either joins shanks or like doffy revels himself related to the celestial dragon imu for immunity and joins the world government again

And btw the SSG project is not just replacing Mihawk. It's replacing him and seven other individuals like him.

He really can't become a yonko. Not without CoC. It's the name, those guys are Emperors. Literal kings who have kings Haki. Mihawk and his sword just doesn't cut it to play at that level.

He will go to Shanks territory and party with the Red Hair Pirates. There's no point in he staying in Paradise alone doing nothing and then somehow meting the SH to have a clash with Zoro while the SH wait doing nothing. Shanks and Luffy will meet and this will be a good oportunity to bring Mihawk back into the main story as Oda have already setup a friendship between Shanks and Mihawk.
