So basically he didn't correct a thing, he is confirming what Trump said, which is that the EU loaned money to Ukraine and it's getting it back (in frozen Russian assets if I understand correctly?). Macron is not the macho man type. He would never start a fist fight with anyone. Trump is just acting like a vulture and securing a big score for the US. Standard politician behavior. I thought he was better than this, it seems i was mistaken. The worst of it all is Trump pretending Zelensky can just shake hands with Putler and ensure the safety of Ukraine that way. Everybody that has two eyes can see that Putin is not stopping until he conquers the whole of Ukraine. Ukraine will only be safe once Russia takes and major military L and Ukraine arm themselves to the teeth to ensure they don't get invaded again.
