There's a 10/10 saga material in Wano, but I am deeply unimpressed with how Oda went about most of it. I don't even think it's necessarily a question of too many chapters, but that's definitely what it feels like when so much of it was mediocre.

I think one of the bigger issues is A lack of conflict in acts 1 & 2 does it for me. We barely see the beast pirates until Act 3 and by then, they’re only around to be beaten.

I think one of the bigger issues is A lack of conflict in acts 1 & 2 does it for me. We barely see the beast pirates until Act 3 and by then, they’re only around to be beaten.

One of the many issues I have with Wano, Oda spreading the story too thin is probably the defining issue with it overall.

It feels like Oda wanted too much and was too indecisive with what to cut from it, resulting in poor execution of half-baked ideas. This is merely speculation on my part, but if there's any truth to Oda basically having complete control to the frustration of editors, it certainly feels to me like there was a lack of editorial oversight in Wano.

King should have been a CoC Haki monster.

imo he should have been so overwhelmingly powerful at first, that it was this discerepancy, similar to Luffy vs Katakuri, that forced Zoro to evolve his CoC in real time.

Like Demon Slayer was carried by Muzan and the upper moons + Rui and great animation.

Muzan fucking sucks, the Upper Moons are not that bad though. I actually like both Akaza and Doma.

A few of the Hashira's are also pretty enjoyable characters.

Demon Slayer has enjoyable characters, certain characters I do think have decent backstories, the fights are really great, and of course great animation.

But everything else is just mid, I don't take Demon Slayer seriously, I think it is supposed to be a series to not take seriously and just have fun with it.

I finally caught up with that series, and while I don't think it is trash, I do think it is a bit overhyped.
