They locked him for 6 years, made him helpless,insulted him for likely something he did for the good of elbaf, his freinds that he made then got killed trying to defend him, offcourse he is pissed. I would be too.
It's definitely intentional but it's not gonna mean much.
We've seen how zoro's parallel with ryuma back in wano didn't mean jackshit. So I would say don't hope for anything
Most likely Oda will use these parallels just to prop up Luffy
