Could be a subtle hint that Loki (just like Zoro) is not the evil monster that everyone made out to be
Tho Loki's action in the last chapter doesn't really tell us otherwise

It's definitely intentional but it's not gonna mean much.
We've seen how zoro's parallel with ryuma back in wano didn't mean jackshit. So I would say don't hope for anything

Most likely Oda will use these parallels just to prop up Luffy

Luffy feeds a weakened Loki which is exactly what he did to Zoro with the rice balls

In fact, I don’t remember if Luffy’s ever fed another person in the story since Zoro until Loki

Problem is that here THE AUTHOR acknowledged the parallel, unlike in other circumstances

So what? I love that you try to compare a thread based on the writer's speculation with a thread based on something acknowledged by the author, yeah truly the same thing

I agree that every narrative parallel is a coincidence... unless the author himself goes as far as give his explicit acknowledgement
