Your scale is wrong, then…believe me, real leftists view mainstream liberals in the exact same way as we do all conservatives; most elected Democrats are so acquiescent to the Republican agenda and refuse to push back on anything, that reeks of complicity and allyship to me

What you described (I don't know what is your country) is the shifting of the overton Window. It's something that happened everywhere in the world since 2001 (and a bit before for some country).

Yes, I know. The overton window moved. 95 % of people moved to the right. That's why it's a fundamental problem. For people like you now, those who were conservatists 20 years ago are now leftists and those who were liberals are now far leftist.
This means that those who were normal leftists at the time (not even radical) are now considered by peoplel like you as revolutionnary and terrorist and you can't even understand people who are radical leftist like me because you would need to create a new word.
And since I'm mostly pacifist, you have hard time to understand me and you are forced to explain that I'm ultra dangerous even tho I'm spreading only positive values.
But what you don't understand, is that if conservatists are now the leftists. It also means that fascists of 20 years ago are now the rightists.
This should make you understand where you stand. At least if you have a bit of logic and political understanding.

But regardless idk how you could be proud of the last 4 years and all that's been happening now should have been a wake up call but I guess you're too far gone.
