Are you saying that democrats are doing a 180 because they are trying to defend Ukraine and Europe ?

Because that has been the democrats's position for 2 years .....

The democrats were associating patriotism with fascism and whatnot, acting like nationality doesn't really exist etc, now they are pushing patriotism and saying we need to fight for our homeland.

I've heard that when there is a shift toward a side (far-right currently), both extremes ae increasing by "nature". Don't know what to think of it exactly.

That's what I've been trying to warn this forum about.

With the increase of the far right, leftists will be forced to be radical to survive and protect people (a bit like I'm trying to do here), and the more it will go on, the stronger will be the push between one side or the other. Meanwhile centrists will feel a push toward the far right as it is there that lies their interest as idealists.

Which means that everything, from politics to social circles on internet will start to shift toward the right and the far right. It's only avoidable by creating a strong opposing force.

You can see this push toward the right happening here by the push created by far rightists and by mods shielding up when they are called out for protecting far right content.

In a few years and if nothing is done, this website will be a full on conservative center. Perhaps not far right, but clearly not progressive. It's a simple logic of power balance.

Overall, It's bad he got murdered; Whatever he may have done; Should have been judged in a court of Law.
I also haven't looked further into it, So that's my initial response. I've heard he (Whether he himself or the company he ran) denied people insurance or claims. Not good either way.

You think there was ever a real chance of somebody getting him in a courtroom and making him answer for his company’s numerous and heinous crimes against sick people? They implemented an AI that denied 90 percent of claims submitted to them; as someone who has done a lot of medical billing, I cannot express the full extent of villainy and moral bankruptcy required to do something so patently cruel, a trial and sentencing wouldn’t have been nearly enough of a punishment. That’s the kind of shit God asks you about on Judgment Day, and I don’t think there’s any possible answer to justify any of it. Not saying that killing someone is ever acceptable, but when you’re indirectly responsible for that much death and suffering, it’s a real “Fuck around and find out” scenario in my eyes…

And that's your right to believe so. But you're going onto the slippery slope to justify it.
At this point it's going to possibly create copycats etc. Further towards anarchy.
But it seems to me that it was allowed one way or another. Did police etc not have enough evidence? Was there even a case being brought forth? If there were such a statistic Why weren't there alarm bells etc.
I won't deny that there are things that are broken; That needs fixing, and Preferably with Trump etc in Office, these types of things (Corruptions etc) won't be allowed to fester.

Still my point stands, The dude should have been tried and convicted and to be held behind bars, if whatever charges he may be guilty of stick etc. But now His Murderer shall be behind bars.

It's natural that they are pissed, they lost the election and people with different values are in power. The same happens to Republicans when Democrats win.
