When you have a character like Zoro whose entire building up is based on strenght, training, power, hardworking, toughness, tenacity etc. and such character wants to be the World's Strongest Swordsman, then why would someone think that swordsmanship is only a second rated fighting style ?

Mihawk is known for making empty threats. In his fight with Zoro, he told him to die in their final clash. So did Mihawk actually have killing intend? Obviously not. Obviously he didn't have killing intend against MF Luffy either. He just allowed himself to use a certain percentage of his power to test whether Luffy can get away with it.

I think managing to the something G4 Luffy couldn't is pretty good, most people didnt expect them to hurt Kaido. Kaido can't struggle too much yet or the moment where he faces Luffy/supernova won't be as tense

From the point of plot writing I agree with you. But Oda have hyped the Samurai by Kaido seeing Oden by them charging towards him. At least they must hurt him in a way that would be equal to what Oden did to Kaido.

First Luffy and the supernova must bypass Big Meme, maybe its finally the Time for BM to get trashed by Luffy.

Where was the blitz from Mihawk? Kaido made that shit look easy against a Luffy 100 times stronger than the one Mihawk couldn't tag.

Why would Mihawk blitz Luffy? He is interested in Luffy and wants to see him grow. Obviously he will only use so much strength to put Luffy under pressure.

What? MIhawk was literally the only character in the series who made Luffy genuinely shit his pants, he was too scared to even attack Mihawk.
While Luffy was running in G2, Mihawk in the crowd of 1000s casually blitzed him.
When Luffy was bout to use G2 Bazooka, Mihawk woulda blitzed and cut his arm off.

After that point Luffy literally gave up on fighting Mihawk, he made a decision that Mihawk is too strong to even engage.

No because Mihawk is extremely perceptive and most likely user of FS. He can assess one's skill just by looking at him so he was sure Luffy would realize it.
