Kaido wonders before the scabbards stabbed him why the scar from Oden hurts and then they penetrate him. He seems to of regained his composure afterwards. I really want to see the scabbards get another shot of cutting him to confirm this. I hope Kaido doesn't just lol stomp them.

Yep, we quite literally had an arc where Luffy fought a FS user who could literally not use FS when he was pissed. He had to be calm in order to use it. Emotional state is a significant factor to how Haki is used and mastered.

what shocks me more in term of inconsistencie is rather the fact that Oda is praising older people, that in his manga, the older you are, the more powerful and wise you are and that he is against nerfing older ones just because they are older, and yet killing for the sake of the scenario - at best because there is no other explanation -, the WSM, by saying that he was old'n'sick.
Oda is full of inconsistencies sometimes.

I mean even if mental state does affect Kaido, as it does affect any beeing, it will just means he was weaker than its opponent, not a nerf in any means, it's rather the opposite, the false belief - in which Oda doesn't help as always because he is the king of portrayal, not the king of logic at all - that yonko were invicible beeings, that were not affected by anything and wouldn't be taken down.This is this very belief that is illogical, not the opposite.

get your facts right.
